There’s a new battle taking shape on the beaches of Normandy, France, and it’s being led in part by a St. Lazare resident and granddaughter of a Canadian D-Day veteran. Quincy Ross has started a petition aimed at halting a condominium project fronting Juno Beach, where her grandfather, Bill Ross, and thousands of other Canadians willingly placed their lives in the balance on June 6, 1944, to begin the liberation of occupied Europe during World War II. Please click on the link to hear Quincy in conversation with Lite 106.7 morning show host Ted Bird. (Link to the petition highlighted above.)
