A wave of nostalgia and the sweet smell of quality cookies swept through the West Island Saturday, with the grand opening of Felix & Norton‘s first owner-operated cookie store in 25 years. Lite 106.7 morning show host Ted Bird ushered in the event with a live on-site broadcast in the company of Felix and Norton founders Michael and Gina Eskenazi, who generously sponsor the Saturday morning show with Terry DiMonte and Ted. It was a great celebration for staff and customers alike – many of whom weren’t even born yet when Michael opened his first store on Queen Mary Road in 1985.
