Environment Canada says more than 15 centimeters as possible, and travel could become challenging. challenging due to reduced visibility and accumulating snow. Rush hour Wednesday afternoon and Thursday morning is expected to be impacted. On day two of wondering if you could take that vacation you paid for and took time off for, air transit pilots issued a 72-hour strike notice over the weekend. There is some worry some passengers could be stranded. Police in Longueuil have charged a teen with murder after a deadly home invasion on Montreal's South Shore this weekend. Police called 2 A.m. Sunday for a break-in in progress. They say an elderly couple was assaulted. The man died of his injuries. A 19-year-old was arrested at the scene. A new location has opened in the Plateau Mont Royal borough to help women and children escape violence. The transitional housing unit is part of a $48 million investment in women's shelters. According to Quebec Shelters, women and children are often turned away or forced to leave because of overcapacity. Officials say they hope the new housing unit will help relieve pressure on the system and support those in need. The goal is to open 67 units by June 2026. And Canada's AI minister opened G7 meetings in Montreal yesterday to promote new digital agreements with Europe amid tensions on AI regulation. Agreements with Germany and the EU will focus on AI, quantum technology, digital credentials, and responsible adoption. Evan Solomon highlighted Canada's aim to expand digital trade, support small businesses, and maintain alignment with trusted partners. Light 1067 sports.
