Quebec's premier launched the election campaign yesterday morning after meeting with the lieutenant governor and dissolving the National Assembly. The provincial election is set for October 5th. Air Canada suspended 2 employees arrested on Wednesday in connection to cocaine and cannabis trafficking at a Montreal's Trudeau airport. The employees arrested worked at ground operations. Similar arrests were made earlier this year in Toronto. That employee was charged with stuffing drugs into unsuspecting traveler suitcases. On the list of recalls today, according to Health Canada, compliments brand and selection brand corn dogs could contain listeria. Some power banks sold at HomeSense Winners and Marshalls being recalled that could pose a fire hazard. The EXO Poppy 5000 MagSafe power bank was sold in various colors and prints. The Power G walking pad sold at Canadian Tires being recalled because it's an electrical hazard. Some semaglutide injections being recalled because they contain an impurity, something that's not supposed to be in the injection. And BMW motorcycles being recalled from the years 2020, the engine could stall while riding. And the voice of Optimus Prime has passed away. Montreal-born actor Peter Cullen, who lent his calm and steady voice to the Transformers franchise, has died at the age of 85.
