The families of five teens who were with 15-year-old Nurin Rezai when he was shot dead by Longuei police are suing the city and the police force for almost $2 million. The teen was killed in September of last year after police responded about a group of teens wearing masks in a residential neighborhood. The statement of claim filed in Quebec court criticizes the actions of the officers, alleging racial profiling played a role in his avoidable death. The plaintiffs are not identified to protect their identity. They're between the ages of 15 and 17. Thousands of ovens are being recalled in the country after reports of injuries at issue. Frigidaire ranges, a risk of burns. The company said the affected gas ranges were sold between June of last year and January of this year and can experience a delayed ignition in the oven's bake burner.
