The dollar trading just over 73 cents. I'm Stacey Englehart. Well, we had a weekend of bitter cold. Now we're in for some snow. Environment Canada issued a snowfall warning yesterday. Now today, they're expecting an additional 10 centimeters. And the intense snowfall at 1 to 2 centimeters per hour is expected to impact your morning drive. And because the snow is powdery, it's easily carried by wind, which will reduce visibility. Road surfaces are slippery. Many flights out of Montreal Trudeau International were canceled because of the weather, so make sure you check ahead. as Montrealers froze their biscuits this weekend, some still trying to find heat, as thousands have had no power since Saturday. According to a Ile-Quebec outage map, many pockets in Montreal are still out this morning. Most interruptions are in the Cote des Nages Notre Dame de Grasse Borough. A pizza pops recall announced before Christmas has expanded to include even more products linked to the possibility of E. coli contamination. Canadian Food Inspection Agency said several varieties are affected. Consumers are urged to check their freezers and throw out the recalled products or return them to the store for a refund. And Parliament reconvenes today after a holiday break. The Prime Minister met last week with his Liberal Cabinet ministers and yesterday with his entire caucus to set out a path for the first session of 2026. The struggle of Canadian families to make ends meet in a turbulent economy is expected to be the key theme as the Bank of Canada is set to hold its policy rate during an announcement on Wednesday.
