Canadian Food Inspection Agency recalling two types of egg products in Quebec and Ontario because it could contain salmonella. They're recalling 1 kilo Supreme brand liquid whole eggs and liquid egg whites. The agency, specifically targeting hotels and restaurants. By the way, some restaurants will serve you liquid eggs if you get an omelet or scrambled. M&A Gilles Belanger is expected to quit the coalition of near Quebec following his removal from cabinet. The former cybersecurity minister was excluded during Premier Christine Frechette's Tuesday reshuffle, with France Elaine Duronceau taking over his file. Before his exit, he notably raised alarms over Quebec's new digital health record, warning the massive IT project managed by a U.S. firm could compromise the security of Quebecers' health data. Supreme Court of Canada has dealt a blow to the Quebec government, rejecting its attempt to block a redrawing of the provincial electoral map. In A 7-2 ruling, the court upheld a decision that the government's 2024 law to freeze boundaries was unconstitutional. So the ruling means the commission will proceed with eliminating a riding in Gaspe and another in Montreal's East End, moving them to faster-growing regions. All provincial parties argue this move strips rural regions of their political weight, while the court ruled the charter requires ridings to have roughly equal populations to ensure fair representation. And 2 trains collided this morning in Denmark in what police describe as a major collision. We're hearing four people are critically injured. About 17 people were injured in total.
