Two people were hurt after a possible explosion sparked a major fire in Kanisataki yesterday evening. The blaze broke out at about 6 P.m. in a building behind the Medharma Cannabis Dispensary on Ron Saint Philomain. Witnesses reported a boom. At least one victim suffered facial burns. The SQ is investigating, but so far, no details on what caused the blast. Ottawa is set to unveil a new national automotive strategy today, scrapping the electric vehicle sales mandate and replacing it with European-style emission standards. The plan also brings back consumer EV rebates and includes A $1.5 billion fund for charging infrastructure.
