Well, expect a mess of weather today. It could affect your drive to work. Environment Canada issued a special weather statement saying roads and sidewalks could be icy, making travel difficult. The forecast is coming up. Community members in Montreal's Il Bizarre got together yesterday to ask police to keep searching the Riviere des Prairie for a missing teen. Eighteen-year-old Hassoun Shoui fell in the ice with a friend and never resurfaced. A 17-year-old was pulled from the water Sunday. Montreal police said the water search for the 18-year-old was suspended, citing dangerous and unpredictable conditions. Police asking the public not to conduct their own searches. Police said other efforts are underway, including drone surveillance along the riverbanks. The process underway to fill a vacancy on the Supreme Court of Canada. The spot will open up when Justice Sheila Martin retires May 30th. She was named to the Supreme Court in 2017 and will step down the day before her 70th birthday. Prime Minister Carney's office said candidates for the top court have until April 27th to put their names forward. Celine Dion announced she'll be back performing coming soon after a long break to deal with a rare health condition. The 58-year-old posted to social media saying her condition had improved and she would be performing a series of shows in Paris beginning in September. Dion disclosed in 2022 she was diagnosed with stiff person syndrome. It's considered an autoimmune disorder. And nearly a million TVs were tuned in to watch Joni Mitchell accept her Lifetime Achievement Award at the Juno Sunday. The CBC said there were 2.6 million viewers for at least some portion of the ceremony, with an average audience of about 765,000. That's 11% higher than last year's ceremony. Baseball yesterday, the Jays were blasted by Colorado 14-5. That three-game home series continues at 7 tonight. The Raptors are in Detroit with an 8 o'clock game tonight in the NBA. And Canada will learn which country it will face to open the FIFA World Cup in Toronto, June 12.
