A toddler who was stuck inside an inflatable castle that got blown away by the wind has passed away. According to reports, a severe storm in Montreal on Sunday took the castle and threw it about 12 feet in the air. 11 people were treated at the scene for injuries. Six had to be taken to hospital. A 22-year-old in critical condition after he was stabbed inside a Walmart in Montreal's North End yesterday afternoon. According to Montreal police, a call came in just after four. A victim stabbed in the upper body with a sharp object during an altercation with a group of individuals. Police are appealing to witnesses. Prime Minister Kearney said a federal deal reached with Quebec on infrastructure funding is about policy, not politics. Kearney was joined by Quebec's premier in Longueur yesterday to announce the province in Ottawa reached a deal to transfer almost 10 billion over 10 years for infrastructure projects. Kearney said the money could be used to build new hospitals or invest in public transit. Opposition parties have questioned the timing of the announcement just months before an election this fall. If the federal NDPs get their way, potential floor crossers will have a harder time switching parties in the future.
